This paper focuses on the presence of a bronze spear found in the Portonaccio sanctuary at Veii. The weapon was discovered during the 1920 excavation of the bottom of the pool located at the north side of the temple near the entrance of the sanctuary. The spear likely belonged to one of the statues that decorated the temple, and in particular, to the monumental statue of Tinia, of which a hand and a foot are preserved.
